Almost nobody has ever seen their own roof. You see the bit visible from the pavement, and that's it — which means when a roofer tells you what's wrong up there, you're taking it entirely on trust.

A drone survey changes that. We fly the roof, photograph it properly, and show you what we've found. You see the same pictures we do, and you can make a decision based on evidence rather than someone's word for it.

It's also the safest and cheapest way to inspect a tall, steep or awkward roof — no scaffolding, no ladders, no working at height just to find out whether there's a problem.

What you get

A full flight of the roof — every slope, ridge, valley, hip and verge, including the parts nobody can see from the ground.
Close-up photographs — of the chimney stack and flaunching, flashings and abutments, valleys, ridge and hip lines, verges, and any flat roof areas.
Hidden areas covered — parapet gutters, box gutters, lower roofs behind parapets and anything tucked out of sight.
An honest written assessment — what's sound, what needs attention now, and what can reasonably wait.
The photos, to keep — useful for insurance claims, for getting comparable quotes, and for a record of the roof's condition.

How we do it

Qualified operators, flown properly. Drone work near buildings needs someone who knows what they're doing, and it's done in line with the relevant regulations.

We fly the whole roof, not just the problem. If you've called about one leak, we'll still look at everything while we're up there. It's the same flight, and it's how you find the thing that would have become next winter's problem.

We show you the evidence. No jargon, no drama. Here's the photo, here's what you're looking at, here's why it matters or doesn't.

We tell you when nothing needs doing. A survey that concludes your roof is fine for another decade is a perfectly good outcome, and we've delivered plenty of them.

We combine it with the quote. If work is needed, the survey feeds straight into an accurate estimate — because we've actually seen the roof rather than guessing at it from the street.

One of our recent Broadstairs jobs was a full re-roof in Botany, and it's a good example of what doing the job properly actually involves.

A re-roof isn't just the tiles you can see from the street. We stripped it back, fitted a breathable membrane, sorted the timber, re-tiled, rebuilt the ridges and dealt with the lead detailing. The property also had a flat-roof dormer and a new VELUX roof window fitted, so the flat and pitched elements had to tie together cleanly and stay watertight where they meet — which is exactly where a lot of roofs let water in.

It's finished, and the home underneath it is protected for decades to come.
