A repair at St. George's School

Our commitment to quality repairs in our community.

In the heart of our community lies St. George's School, a place of learning and growth for our future generations. As a local roofing company, we take immense pride in supporting institutions like St. George's, ensuring they have safe and reliable infrastructure for their students and staff. Today, we're excited to share a recent project we undertook at St. George's – repairing a rainwater outlet to enhance the durability and longevity of their roofing system.

When we were approached by St. George's School, they had concerns about a malfunctioning rainwater outlet. Water leakage from such outlets not only compromises the structural integrity of the building but also poses potential safety hazards. We knew immediate action was necessary to address this issue and provide a lasting solution.

Our skilled team began by thoroughly assessing the damaged rainwater outlet. To ensure a strong bond and lasting repair, we applied a specialised primer to the metal outlet. This primer prepared the surface, allowing the fibreglass to adhere securely, forming a robust seal against water intrusion.

Next, we utilised Lloyd's-approved resin, known for its exceptional strength and durability. This resin was expertly applied to the primed outlet, reinforcing its structure, and sealing any existing cracks or weaknesses. Our meticulous attention to detail during the application process ensured that the resin cured properly, maximising its effectiveness in providing long-term protection.

Completing the repair:

Once the resin had cured to perfection, we applied a final layer of Lloyd's approved topcoat. This topcoat serves as the ultimate protective barrier, shielding the repaired rainwater outlet from the elements and maintaining its integrity over time. With this additional layer of defence, we provided St. George's School with peace of mind, knowing their roofing system was fortified against future leaks and water damage.

At our roofing company, we prioritise quality craftsmanship and safety in every project we undertake. Our commitment to using Lloyd's approved materials reflects our dedication to providing our clients with superior results that withstand the test of time. By adhering to industry standards and best practices, we ensure that our repairs not only meet but exceed our clients' expectations.

Supporting institutions like St. George's School is at the core of our company's values. We understand the importance of investing in our community and contributing to the well-being of its members. By delivering reliable roofing solutions to St. George's, we contribute to creating a safe and conducive learning environment for students and educators alike.

The successful repair of the rainwater outlet at St. George's School exemplifies our commitment to excellence and our dedication to serving our community. Through meticulous attention to detail, the use of premium materials, and a steadfast focus on quality, we ensure that institutions like St. George's can continue to thrive with confidence in the reliability of their roofing systems. As we look towards the future, we remain steadfast in our mission to support and strengthen the foundations of our community, one repair at a time.

The team at Frampton Roofing recently completed a large-scale industrial roofing project at the Flambeau warehouse and manufacturing facility in Ramsgate . This enormous roof had seen years of wear and was in urgent need of attention to prevent further deterioration. From moss-choked valleys to cracked sheeting and overgrown drainage systems, this was a serious clean-up and repair mission—executed while keeping the busy site operational throughout. The Challenge Flambeau’s factory spans a huge footprint, with long, pitched valley roofs running the length of the site. Over time, the central valleys had become overrun with: 🟢 Thick moss and vegetation growth 💧 Standing water due to blocked or sagging drainage ⚠️ Cracked and damaged sheeting along the valley lines 🌧️ Increased risk of leaks and pooling during heavy rain The goal was to restore effective drainage, clear debris, and repair visible damage—ensuring the roof would perform safely over the winter months and beyond.
