Lovely bit of fibreglass roof!
A recent Fibreglass roof in Ramsgate
We were over in Ramsgate, Kent last week to remove a failing old asphalt roof for a customer (complete with its own mini-garden growing all over it!). Once that was all removed and safely disposed of, we got to work reboarding the roof and putting our fibreglass solution on top, so now our customer has complete peace of mind (and no more leaky roof!).
What is a fibreglass roof?
Fibreglass roofing, is another term for GRP roofing, which stands for Glass-Reinforced Plastic. It is a material used in roofing that is composed of a resin mixed with glass or fibrous strands. The resin is in liquid form when applied, but a catalyst is used which starts a curing process that turns the liquid into a solid over a short period of time.
