Roof Rescue on a Rainy Day at Kaspa's = Sweet Success!

Get ready for a story that takes us to Kaspa's, the dessert paradise in Margate, on a very drizzly day 🍨🌧

Imagine this: a grey sky with raindrops that sound like drumbeats. And there we were, the brave crew from Framton Roofing, ready to take on a flat roof drainage problem at Kaspa's.

With the rain as a soundtrack, we set out to clear the drainage slopes. Leaves, twigs, moss and other bits of nature had gathered (where does it all come from?!), making it hard for rainwater to run smoothly. We got to work with our tools and a sprinkle of determination.

A rainy day victory, sealed with sweetness...

After getting rid of the rubbish, it was time for the big show: sealing. Think of it as putting a rainproof blanket on, to protect it from even the most stubborn drops of rain. We delicately coated the roof with waterproofing compounds, like a dessert chef adding that extra layer of nutella.

We couldn't help but smile as we finished up, with raindrops still whispering in our ears (and on our shoulders). The roof of Kaspa was now set up to handle rain with as much skill as their delicious desserts please taste buds...

So, folks, there you have it! Our Kaspa's adventure is a tale of drainage victories and roof repairs on a day when it rained. When you enjoy a treat at Kaspa's the next time, know that a rainproof guardian is watching over, making sure your experience stays sweet.

It's always a good idea to get a roof survey done on your commercial property and taking protective and preventative measures tends to work out much better value than waiting until you have to fix that leaking roof. Get in touch now for a free roof survey.

The team at Frampton Roofing recently completed a large-scale industrial roofing project at the Flambeau warehouse and manufacturing facility in Ramsgate . This enormous roof had seen years of wear and was in urgent need of attention to prevent further deterioration. From moss-choked valleys to cracked sheeting and overgrown drainage systems, this was a serious clean-up and repair mission—executed while keeping the busy site operational throughout. The Challenge Flambeau’s factory spans a huge footprint, with long, pitched valley roofs running the length of the site. Over time, the central valleys had become overrun with: 🟢 Thick moss and vegetation growth 💧 Standing water due to blocked or sagging drainage ⚠️ Cracked and damaged sheeting along the valley lines 🌧️ Increased risk of leaks and pooling during heavy rain The goal was to restore effective drainage, clear debris, and repair visible damage—ensuring the roof would perform safely over the winter months and beyond.
