- Boarding Installation: We began by replacing the old boarding with new 8x2 OSB boards, which were securely fixed to the existing joists. OSB (Oriented Strand Board) is known for its strength and durability, making it an ideal choice for roofing applications.
- Trim Application: To ensure a clean and finished look, we applied pre-formed trims along the edges of the dormer. These trims not only enhance the roof’s appearance but also contribute to its overall structural integrity.
- Resin and Topcoat Application: The entire roof was then coated with Lloyd’s approved resin followed by a Lloyd's approved topcoat. This combination provides a waterproof barrier and UV protection, guaranteeing longevity and resilience against the elements.
